The Management and Strategy Institute’s innovative Scrum Master Certification covers a lot more than just Scrum.  That’s because businesses today use many different project management tools simultaneously to improve their organizations.  One week you could be a Scrum Master, leading sequential sprints for business development.  The next week you could be a Six Sigma Champion, coordinating between company stakeholders and a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Whatever the scenario, you’ll be prepared when you achieve:
Scrum Master – Lean Champion Certified (SM-LCC) from MSI.

Scrum Master - Lean Champion Certification (SM-LCC)™

MSI set out to design a completely new project management certification.  One that addressed the Scrum Master role but also prepares the recipient to lead other types of projects.  The simple fact is that most organizations today combine different methods to achieve the best outcome.

Many positions within a project can overlap, and that’s especially true between the roles of Scrum Master and Six Sigma Champion.  Until now, if you wanted to understand project leadership, you needed many different certifications, including Agile, Scrum, Scrum Master, Lean, Champion, and Six Sigma.

MSI has combined the most important elements of Agile, Scrum, and Lean Six Sigma into one advanced certification. You’ll learn to lead projects from multiple disciplines and help your organization provide new products and services.  The Scrum Master Certification program takes 1-3 weeks to complete, depending on your comfort level with the material.

More About Scrum Master Certification

In today’s fast-paced business world, project management has become a critical aspect of successful organizations. Companies are continuously looking for ways to improve project management to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. This is where agile, lean, and six sigma methodologies come into play. The scrum master, as an expert in agile methodologies, can leverage these methodologies to manage projects effectively.

Agile Methodology in Project Management

Agile is a methodology that emphasizes collaboration, flexibility, and rapid response to change. The agile methodology promotes iterative development, continuous improvement, and customer involvement. The process emphasizes the importance of delivering value to the customer through incremental releases. Agile methodology is particularly useful for software development projects where requirements are constantly evolving.

As a scrum master, you can leverage agile methodologies to manage projects effectively. Agile methodology emphasizes the importance of involving stakeholders in the project development process. This ensures that the project meets the expectations of the customer. The agile methodology also emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement. This allows the team to identify and address issues quickly, leading to increased efficiency and better outcomes.

Lean Six Sigma Methodology in Project Management

As a scrum master, you can leverage six sigma methodology to identify areas where improvements can be made in the project development process. By analyzing data, you can identify areas where the project is experiencing defects or variability. This allows you to take corrective action to ensure that the project meets the requirements of the customer. Six Sigma methodology also emphasizes the importance of measuring results, allowing you to quantify the impact of your improvements.

You can also leverage lean methodology to eliminate waste in the project development process. This allows you to reduce costs and increase efficiency. By focusing on delivering value to the customer, you can ensure that the project meets the expectations of the customer. Lean methodology also emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement, allowing you to identify areas where improvements can be made.

Being a scrum master is not just about managing agile projects. It is also about leveraging methodologies like six sigma and lean to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. By adopting these methodologies, you can identify areas where improvements can be made, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. As a scrum master, it is essential to stay up to date with the latest methodologies to deliver successful projects.
