Six Sigma Lean Green Belt Certified (LGBC)™
Training Material & Certification Test $199.95 |
The Six Sigma Lean Green Belt certification course has been developed exclusively for the Management and Strategy Institute and is designed to give the student a solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles. From the study material, you'll learn to effectively work within a Lean Six Sigma team.
Lean Green Belts work to improve quality and reduce defects in organizational processes. They work with Lean Black Belts to look at Critical to Quality characteristics (CTx) like costs and Process alignment. These critical quality elements are based on the project return on investment (ROI), customer needs, and business needs. They use the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to develop and deploy a process improvement plan. You'll learn what is involved in each stage of DMAIC and what tools can be used. In addition to this, you'll also learn about "Lean" processes and how they can be used in conjunction with a Six Sigma project.
Six Sigma Lean Green Belts should have a good understanding of the DMAIC process and an understanding of how process changes can be implemented. Our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification exam will test your fundamental understanding of these concepts. "Lean" skills are used most often in the manufacturing and logistics fields. Recently however, lean is being used in other fields including healthcare, finance, and more.
MSI also offers a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification without the Lean element and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for those looking to get certified at the project management level of Six Sigma.

"There are several other people in my department who have Green Belt certifications. They all recommended MSI as a great place to get certified since the exams are affordable and you can complete them fairly quickly. Our company is also planning on sending several managers through the Black Belt program at MSI." - Dave M. "I applied for management positions at several manufacturing companies and was asked if I had Lean experience during several interviews. I had to answer no since I had never even heard of it.
