Are There Prerequisites?
No. Unlike other popular PM certifications, the Management and Strategy Institute does not require a college degree or experience hours for our certification. Our training material includes all of the information you will need to pass the test. Previous experience in project management could be useful, but is not required.
Is the Project Management Certification Test Difficult?
This test is designed to ensure that you can function at a competent level within a Project Management environment. The knowledge level rating is 'Intermediate'. How long is the training course?
The training course is self-paced. Time to complete and fully comprehend will vary with every individual. It may take several days or weeks of study before you feel comfortable to take the final test. You may take the final exam as soon as you're ready. You have 1 year from the date of purchase to complete the course.
Is the test proctored?
No, the test for our project management course is not proctored at this time. It is timed, with a limit of 120 minutes. You may take the test online, from home or work whenever you are ready.
Professional Competency Units (PCU):
Participants who successfully complete this certification program will receive 20 Professional Competency Units (PCUs) from MSI.
This course also qualifies for Recertification credit through HRCI.
