No.  Unlike other popular Project Management certifications, the Management and Strategy Institute does not require a college degree or project experience for our certification.  The certification is based on your ability to pass the certification exam included with this program.

This test is designed to ensure that you can function at a competent level within a Lean Project Management environment. It will be very important that you study the training material included to ensure that you have a solid understanding of the principals involved.  The test is open-note, however it is also timed, so you will not be able to look up answers to questions while taking the test.  If you are an experienced project manager you should be able to move through the training material faster.  If you do not pass the test on the first attempt you will be given two additional attempts at no charge.

The study material is self-paced. Time to complete and fully comprehend will vary with every individual. It may take several days or weeks of study before you feel comfortable to take the final test. You may take the final exam as soon as you’re ready. You have 1 year from the date of purchase to complete the course.

Yes, MSI also offers digital books which can be purchased or rented at a significantly discounted rate. These books are perfect for learning additional Project Management concepts:
– Project Management, Fast Track to Success

This certification exam is timed with a limit of 2 hours.  The exam is completed online from home or work.  You may take the exam as soon as you are ready, it does not need to be scheduled in advance.  All questions are multiple choice.

Participants who successfully complete this certification will receive:

You will be mailed a Certificate Of Completion, as well as a letter of congratulations and two copies of our training verification letters which you can give to employers who request it. The certificate is heavy-stock, cream paper suitable for framing.
